From the minute I walked through the door the atmosphere was so very friendly and relaxing. Both Emma who did my hair and Lianne who did my make-up were so professional and nothing was too much trouble. I normally hate going to the hairdressers as my hair is very thin. Everyone at Salon Ten makes you feel so welcome and comfortable that you forget your insecurities. I had Great Lengths hair extensions. Beforehand I was really nervous but Nicky’s kindness and professionalism made me feel comfortable and I loved the results.

The staff are so friendly and give you professional helpful advice. I have suffered with low self-confidence all my teenage years, however Nicky worked her magic with the help of amazing extensions and I now feel confident in myself (cheesy but true). This really is more of an experience than a hairdressers (although be careful of falling asleep in those massage chairs). All staff are so friendly and help create a friendly atmosphere. I would never go anywhere else. It is also very convenient as you can have waxing/facials etc at the same place as you’re having your hair

After suffering with many serious illnesses for over four years, my body was stressed, tired and very close to all together giving up. My hair was falling out, I was deathly pale and my confidence was rock bottom. I didn’t leave the house in fear of being stared at, whispered about or, if like some people, just stand there, pointing with their mouths open. It left me feeling angry, severely depressed and nearly suicidal. I needed help. However, spending the day at the salon, where I had a full head of 40″ hair extensions, a makeover and a full luxury Jessica manicure, leaving that evening I felt like a princess. My confidence was back and I was back to myself again. It’s so silly that something like hair extensions can make you walk with your head held high (and why wouldn’t I with that head of hair?!!) Not only was it the treatments I was given, but the people there are truly wonderful. I was given hand on heart wonderful service. Constant tea, coffee, biscuits and cold drinks on tap. Fantastic conversation with a great bunch of people. There isn’t any nastiness, but rather a family feel, in a building with the most wonderful cosy atmosphere. I cannot wait to come back again and I cannot thank them enough for giving me my life (and my smile with it) back. Be back soon

I was concerned after visiting hospital to find out that my treatment for arthritis would involve hair loss. My visit to Salon 10 was wonderful. A lovely wig was purchased

I visited Salon Ten after it was recommended to me for its quality wigs and friendly atmosphere. Any expectations I had where smashed - the staff are all warm, welcoming and were extremely happy to talk with me about my needs. As a disabled women who has numerous bad hair days, I explained what I was looking for. To my delight there where many choices in many colours and styles. A member of staff sat helping me and was honest with what suited my face and we had a good giggle (they all, I found, have wonderful sense of humours). I never at any point felt anything but respect from everyone at Salon Ten. I eventually settled on a wig after some 3hrs so didn’t feel rushed into making a choice. The shop is beautifully laid out and quirky in its shape. I was not disappointed with my experience - actually the total opposite! Be prepared to have a play with your wig at home and styling it. I found wearing it just an hour a day for a week helped it settle. Wonderful shop, wonderful staff, wonderful experience. Thank you so much to everyone at Salon Ten, the 2hr drive was worth your expertise & I highly recommend you.
